“Only Now”, “In Flight” in Toronto

Two of my pieces will be included in the forthcoming Toronto International Electroacoustic Symposium (TIES) which runs from August 13 – 17. “Only Now” will be played in concert and I will play “In Flight” as part of a lecture-recital focussing on AudioSprayGun. Here is a link to some photographs of the USAP gig last weekend at Tempelhofer Freiheit (the former Berlin airport), which featured “In Flight”. Solar Powered Gig: “In Flight” in Berlin

A version of my recent piece “In Flight” will be playing in Berlin later this month (June 2014). “November”, my one minute piece realised using Audio Spray Gun, will receive its world première in New York next Friday as part of a 60×60 surround set curated by Hans Tammen. “Many Drops” was included last month in IMAGINARY CONCERTS, an online micro concert with sound-art miniatures focusing on water and climate change consequences. “Exploration” for flute and laptop, which was presented in a workshop with Gilbert Nouno yesterday, has been chosen for performance in tonight’s closing concert at INTER/actions (16th March 2014, 20:00 GMT). Richard Craig will play alto flute, and I will be operating the laptop.
