Since October 2001, a group of us have been organising a regular jazz practice band in Mid Wales. Once a month, these sessions take the form of workshops run by established local musicians.

At present, between 8 and 12 players attend each week with instruments including drums, bass, guitars, trumpet, trombone, saxes and flute. Although our main objective is practice, we also do occasional charity gigs in the local area.
 
The band meets every Sunday between 2pm and 5pm at the Dragon Theatre/ Theatre y Ddraig in Barmouth, Gwynedd, Mid Wales and there is a charge of £2.50 each per session to cover costs (hire of hall, photcopying etc.). New members of all ability levels are always welcome.
